La fin de la corrida est arriv\u00e9e dans toute la Colombie. Apr\u00e8s des mois de travail intense de la coalition Colombia Sin Toreo dans les deux chambres du Congr\u00e8s, le projet de loi qui met fin aux corralejas et \u00e0 tous les divertissements cruels avec des animaux a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9 \u00e0 la majorit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s le quatri\u00e8me d\u00e9bat, qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 report\u00e9 de plusieurs semaines, le projet de loi interdisant les pratiques cruelles de divertissement avec des animaux, \u00e0 savoir les corridas et toutes leurs variantes, a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9 avec 93 voix pour et 2 contre.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9sormais, dans le cadre du processus l\u00e9gislatif, le texte doit \u00eatre v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 par le S\u00e9nat afin qu’il ne contienne aucune ill\u00e9galit\u00e9, un fait qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9 lors des quatre d\u00e9bats pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, mais il s’agit d’une proc\u00e9dure qui avance g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement avec facilit\u00e9. Une fois les \u00e9ventuels d\u00e9tails ajust\u00e9s, le texte ira au pr\u00e9sident Petro pour \u00eatre valid\u00e9 et promulgu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le projet de loi pr\u00e9voit une p\u00e9riode de transition de trois ans pour proc\u00e9der \u00e0 la reconversion \u00e9conomique et professionnelle des personnes ou des familles d\u00e9montrant qu’elles tirent leur subsistance de ces activit\u00e9s. \u00c0 cette fin, le Congr\u00e8s a ordonn\u00e9 aux minist\u00e8res de la Culture et de l’Environnement de r\u00e9glementer, dans les deux mois suivant l’entr\u00e9e en vigueur de la loi, les conditions dans lesquelles les spectacles taurins pourront avoir lieu au cours des trois ann\u00e9es de transition. Ils doivent respecter \u00ab les normes les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re de bien-\u00eatre et de protection des animaux \u00bb, comme le pr\u00e9voit le texte du projet de loi. Enfin, le projet pr\u00e9voit que les ar\u00e8nes devront \u00eatre transform\u00e9es pour pouvoir \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour des activit\u00e9s culturelles, artistiques ou sportives sans cruaut\u00e9 ni maltraitance envers les animaux.<\/p>\n

Aujourd’hui, en Am\u00e9rique latine, la corrida n’est autoris\u00e9e qu’en \u00c9quateur, au Mexique, au P\u00e9rou et au Venezuela, le Mexique \u00e9tant le pays o\u00f9 l’activit\u00e9 taurine est la plus importante d’Am\u00e9rique latine. L’interdiction de la corrida au Mexique, ainsi que l’abolition totale en Colombie, marqueraient le d\u00e9but de la chute totale des corrida en Am\u00e9rique latine.<\/p>\n
